In my first job after college, I loved engaging directly with followers while managing the brand’s Instagram. Since then, I’ve created social ads for oncology, cystic fibrosis, and vaccine brands. Beyond brand copywriting, I’ve spearheaded campaigns for agency social media accounts and created content for local progressive candidates.

Hot Girls for Zohran began as an affinity group to support Zohran Mamdani’s historic mayoral campaign. No politician is perfect, but I was excited to join a group of like-minded artists and activists who support innovative candidates who have bold visions for strengthening place where I was born and raised. Over 200 people applied to work for HG4NY (aka HG4Z), and I was one of six copywriters accepted to create content. You can see clips from a post I wrote below.

  • I developed the concept of echoing a prescription pad to explain Zohran’s healthcare platform in four simple steps.

  • I then conducted research and wrote the copy in each frame.

Our former client Novavax tasked the team with introducing their new COVID-19 vaccine option on TikTok after it received Emergency Use Authorization (EUA). I contributed by:

  • Developing the concept and writing the script

  • Working with my art partner on pre-production

  • Providing feedback on shoot location and voice over talent

  • Assisting on set during the shoot

Choosy Kitty won “Best Pharmaceuticals Social Media Campaign” at the 2024 Internet Advertising Competition. Overall, our Novavax educational TikTok campaign (consisting of 5 videos) generated 42MM impressions.

COJOLYA BRAND AWARENESS

  • ABOUT

    I was a Princeton in Latin America fellow at the Cojolya Association of Maya Women Weavers in Santiago Atitlán, Guatemala. As a small organization, social media was an invaluable free tool for building brand awareness. We used our socials to sell textile products, fundraise, and share weavers’ stories.

  • Community management

    I was responsible for Cojolya’s social media from photography to personally engaging with followers. I updated our content strategy by writing bilingual social copy and highlighting our distinctly local approach to textiles and social programming for weavers and their families.

  • Community building

    Through comprehensive digital outreach including active participation in fair trade campaigns, I increased our followers by 30%. We also won a Common Objective sustainability award, gained 4 new wholesale distributors, and found more clients who contracted our weavers for custom designs.
